Elvenar Sorcerers & Dragons – Day 04 [15%]

So, we’re in day 4 of Elvenar Sorcerers & Dragons chapter (see previous day at Elvenar Sorcerers & Dragons – Day 03). Our University got some diversity of thought 😉 Instead of pure Alchemist Faculties, we now also have some Necromancy ones as well. Can’t wait for us to get all 3 types – then we can move into proper production phase!

City changes

The obvious change for today is an added variety in our faculties. Now, instead of pure Archemy setup we’re rocking 5 Alchemy and 3 Necromancy faculties. So we’ve sold one Alchemy already, and more will follow when we start building Arcane. The bottom 3x Alchemy Faculties will go, and will be neatly replaced by 3x Arcane ones. The space is all set for the final 2/3/3 setup around L1 campus!

Now, the shantytown also did spread – I would really like to wrap the quests up ASAP. Because soon I will have to upgrade Campus to L2, and this will swallow a lot of space that currently houses the L1 ghetto.

So to clear the space for all these changes I have sold 3x Willows. This was supposed to happen, they did their job of adding some extra mana for a few days.

But we won’t be dropping in mana production! I just got 1BP->10RR recipe in the Magic Academy, and that means that I was able to upgrade Revelers Fountain to Woodelves. It will produce ~16K mana a day! This is actually more than 3 willows that I’ve sold. Nice!

I have also started an L5 upgrade to my Tome of Secrets AW. I don’t really need extra supplies, but I will need extra AW levels in the next chapter (for divine seed production). This is one of the cheap AWs, and the next L6 upgrade is free – you only need runes. And I have 100+ runes for the ToS 😉

Elvenar Sorcerers & Dragons progress

Today we activated Necromancy Faculty research, and put quite a few KPs into Arcane Faculty tech. Research is going according to plan. Mana doesn’t seem to be an issue, and we haven’t event started upgrading Willows to Arcane Libraries. This initial research drains a lot of supplies though. A lot! You better have excellent production, and/or plenty of supply instants. Luckily, I have both 😉 My supplies are dipping relatively low simply because I am pulling all the workshops into event productions. This means they don’t particulate in quest cycling – hence significantly lower supply production than normal. Well, very soon we’ll be back to the usual setup.

Tomorrow we should be able to close Faculties research, and start building Arcane Faculties. With that, we’ll have a complete set that is required to upgrade the facilities. Soon we’ll have to unwrap those portal profits. Unfortunately, it is likely that we’ll have to deploy quite a few before we’re able to fully upgrade the Campus. This means that PP usage won’t be at max efficiency (PP gets you a percentage of max portal capacity, which will be lower for lower Campus levels). Ah well, it is unlikely we will be able to do much about it. We’ll see how KP acquisition will go vs production of upgrade goods…

Silk Tournament – 4* day

Relatively quiet tournament day today – 4* stage doesn’t bring a lot of KPs, but losses usually start to tick up a bit. Which is exactly what we observe – today we’ve lost 30 squads vs 22 at 3* stage. This seems somewhat reasonable, even if higher than I would like. But at crystals tournament losses from 3* to 4* actually decreased a tiny bit! This doesn’t make much sense. I am more and more inclined to think that something was off during the crystal tournament. There are too many inconsistencies.

I had to postpone 4* stage by several hours to hit an event quest – that’s why recoveries are quite a bit higher than usual. Which is quite helpful, too, as we would be practically empty if we do it on regular schedule.

Now, we may even have enough troops to fight through stage 5* – especially if I delay this one as well. Probably won’t be enough still, as losses will likely increase even more so. We’ll find out soon enough 😉
