Elvenar Orcs – Day 28 [74%]

So, we’re in day 28 of Elvenar Orcs chapter (see previous day at Elvenar Orcs – Day 27). As anticipated, today I am getting into some long upgrades. Builders work on upgrading Main Hall to L20 (L21 would be the last one for now). Martial Monastery AW finished upgrading to L5, and I quickly filled in runes wheel and started L6 upgrade.

Also I took out two L1 workshops to free up space for residence L19->L20 upgrade. More to come here; as I suspected, this didn’t impact supplies situation. Still running low on coins, primarily due to upgrades and scouting costs (running at 1.2mm a pop now). Goods are recovering nicely, as planned.

More extra space is coming online – I finished scouting 8 provinces that are needed to open another expansion. I will likely open it right at the beginning of Woodelves as negotiating will generate a lot of KPs, and I don’t want extra KPs now, and I am good on space. Expansion 35 from research is also coming up, but will require a Main Hall upgrade. This expansion costs 8mm in coins, and my L19 Main Hall only goes up to 7.7mm.

Tournament prep

Recovery mode is on from the tournament perspective. I refilled my primary unit from the dust tournament – Sword Acrobats – to 20 squads. The gems tournament that is coming up next will need a mage unit as a primary. I will go with Bud Sorceress despite common recommendation for Banshees. My Banshees are only L1, and Training Grounds productions speed is dramatically slower right now. So L3 Sorceress that is much faster to produce in Barracks sounds like a much better deal. Still, Elven mages are squishy, so I will contemplate dropping temporary boost buildings such as Unleashed Unit Upgrade (+25% health) or Magnificent Mage Multiplier (+50 damage).

Elvenar Orcs research goods

Research goods – shrooms of wisdom and loot – are on target. I didn’t collect any shrooms of wisdom today, and my loot storage is still full. Tomorrow will be a SoW pickup day, so we’ll see which research I’ll select for activation. I am still confident that I won’t get tech locked – and if anything goes wrong, I still have a ton of Portal Profit spells. I need to keep monitoring psychoshrooms and powershrooms production as not to overproduce, so eventually I may switch some of those farms to the shrooms of wisdom.
