So, weβre in day 22 of Elvenar Woodelves chapter (see previous day at Elvenar Woodelves β Day 21). Construction of Woodelves settlement is almost finished, and we’re producing at full speed (well, almost). But we’re slightly behind on Forest Fabrication productions (or too fast on KP acquisition). So will this be enough? Only time will tell….
City changes
The Woodelves settlement continues to expand and evolve – it is now 8L2+/9/9/6 vs yesterday’s 9L2+/8/8/5. Yahoo! We have reached our target of 9/9/6 for grafting sites. GS complex is operational and producing at maximum capacity. About time! Forest Fabrications are not far behind, I am only 3x L2->L3 upgrades away from reaching the target on FFs.
This is great, in particular because I no longer need to produce mana tears. We are all done there! Without mana tears draining all available mana supplies, we even started to accumulate a little bit, and that hasn’t happened for days.
And what else is significant? While we haven’t quite reached full target for the settlement yet (ETA – tomorrow), today we have reached target footprint. That’s right, our current settlement got it’s final layout – remaining FF upgrades do not change that. And to accomplish that final transition we unlocked another research expansion, and moved the final blocking Willow there.
And as we’re wrapping up with the settlement construction, I managed to sneak in two AW upgrades that already had KPs filled in: Shrine of Shrewdy Shrooms L2, and Blooming Trader Guild L4. This BTG upgrade will increase our settlement goods production by 1% (108%->109%).
Tomorrow we should wrap up settlement construction, and move builders to other upgrade projects. Stay tuned!
Elvenar Woodelves progress
Things started to look a lot better now! As I no longer need to produce mana tears, my mana burn rate slowed down considerably. This hasn’t had any impact on the inventory yet, but I expect to start accumulating it on a daily basis now – that is, before paying for research. After research, I don’t expect much of a surplus on average – unless I expand my mana production again. Which is possible, I have some ideas π
We’re almost in pure production mode, but now I expect more KPs as crystal tournament has started. I will postpone inflows as long as I can, but in a few days it is going to hit, and I better be prepared in terms of research goods.
Mana and Grafting Sites look good from the ETA perspective, but Forest Fabrications lag a little bit. Now, it is a race against time. If I continue to do better than expected on GS, I may consider doing a few unplanned L4 upgrades to FF. Shorter ETAs on GS means we slightly overproduce refined goods, and this excess can be utilized to ramp up FF production a little bit. But it all depends on what the final KP rate is going to be. The margins here are pretty thin…
Crystal Tournament β 1* Day
Today is the first day of the crystal tournament. We started pretty much in the same position as last time, with 127 squads. And on day 1 I usually open all the provinces that I intend to do to any degree, so it is 20 in stage 1* again. There is not a whole lot of KPs in stage 1, so there is no reasons to delay this stage.
Stage 2* tomorrow will be different though, so it will be difficult to compare with the last tournament.
But the first stage went smoothly, according to plan and pretty much with exactly the same losses as the last time. The only thing I noticed that my T2, in particular crystals, dropped more than anticipated on catering encounters with 3+ counterunits. It felt like we indeed had more of those encounters, but I didn’t quantify that. In any case, this is nothing to worry about (at least yet).
